Like many supercars, the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is more capable out of the box than many of its owners will ever be able to handle. Realizing this, Ford Racing teamed up with Miller Motorsports Park in Utah to create the Ford Racing Raptor Assault School, and this week on Wide Open Throttle host Jessi Lang checks out the program
Lang starts in the Raptor Assault School's classroom, where an instructor teaches the class the do’s and don’ts of off-roading in a Raptor. Next, it's off to the hill-climbing portion of the class, where students drive the mostly-stock Ford F-150 SVT Raptor up and down steep (and blind) grades, before moving on to practicing whoops and jumps. Finally, the class finishes off on a 700-acre mixed-terrain course at the desert facility.
