Dear Truck Trend,
Are there any rumblings out of Ford, GM, or Chrysler of bringing back the Bronco, Blazer, Jimmy, or Ram Charger? I mean the full-size versions. I was sad to see them go, and would really like to see at least one of them return. I rarely need a pickup, and I don't need anything of the size of the Expedition, Suburban, Tahoe, and the like. The closest vehicles being produced today are the Nissan Xterra and Toyota FJ Cruiser. Those are fine vehicles, but not exactly what I want. I've seen photos of a Ford Bronco concept, and I'm not really impressed. I've also seen a Photoshopped Raptor made to look like a Bronco, and I do like that. If you're hearing anything, please pass it along.

Dear Reader,
We also saw the Raptorized Bronco (Bronco-ed Raptor?) and it does look like an interesting idea -- but it didn't come from Ford, and it looks like the wishful thinking of a truck fan with a cool idea. But we haven't heard about any full-size body-on-frame, two-door SUVs coming. In fact, as it is right now, the only two-door SUVs that exist at all are the Wrangler and the Evoque. We're glad vehicles like the Xterra and FJ Cruiser still exist. However, we doubt the Big Three are going to going to get back to full-size two-doors. The only thing we've heard about old-school models making a comeback is the strong rumor that the Wagoneer name will return.
