Dodge-Dakota

If Dodge/Ram/Fiat still made the Dak, I'd order one tomorrow to replace my 2000 Dak. Still looking for the non-whale manual tranny reasonably powered club cab with at least a 6 foot bed. It was a sweet spot. The new Colorado *almost* gets it, but limits the stick to  4-cyl 2wd #$%. I'd even look at a Ranger provided it meets the spec. I'm tempted to go to Ram 2500 ... but then I've got diesel and cold weather gel issues....

Chrysler would be wise to bring back the Dakota, even if it's not a true body-on-frame vehicle. Ford has dismissed the U.S. mid-sized truck market (plus several other models Fiesta coupe, Falcon, etc.) Chrysler should join GM in providing people with something other than a full-sized truck.
