This fifth-gen Toyota HiAce Luxury Commuter Bus is a long way from home. The van is sold only in Asia and Australia, but was spotted in Southern California during rush-hour traffic with California Dealer plates.
Standing roughly 7.5-ft tall and 17.65-ft long, the HiAce can hold up to 16 passengers. The HiAce is available as a panel van, window van, and Commuter Bus, and with low and high roof options. All models are equipped with a four-cylinder DOHC engine with gas and diesel options and a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
