With a 544-hp 5.5-liter biturbo V-8, there's no doubt that the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG can hold its own during stoplight drag races -- it might be the fastest box on wheels that money can buy.
But a G-Wagen isn't a G-Wagen unless it can tackle boulders, climb near-vertical cliffs, and ford knee-deep water. The video also features a few shots of what goes into constructing a G-Class. Much of Benz's iconic SUV is built by hand, from everything including the chassis, interior panels, and, in the G63's case, the engine.
