In the trade journal Automotive News, Ford VP of global product development Derrick Kuzak said Lincoln vehicles will "not share sheetmetal with any Ford" products, though they might get engines and electronics not offered on Fords. Lincoln director of product development Scott Tobin suggested wider application of V-6s and all-wheel drive, but a rear-drive Lincoln is not in the plans.
