The all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee goes on sale next month and Chrysler is celebrating its production launch at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit this Friday. In anticipation of the event, Chrysler has released more photos and a new YouTube video with rolling footage of the newest Jeep running around Moab.
The Grand Cherokee is wrapped in new, yet familiar, sheetmetal and will receive motivation from a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 developing 280 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Three 4x4 options are available -- Quadra-Trac I, Qudra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II -- and pricing starts as low as $30,995 for the most basic 4x2 Laredo model.
