Is it possible to give the luxurious but conservatively styled Lexus LX 570 SUV a bit more flash and dash? Japanese tuner Asi had exactly that question in mind when it created the LX 570 Invader.
A redesigned "in-your-face" front fascia that incorporates -- count them -- four huge grilles dominates the exterior profile. Asi backs the more aggressive look by retuning the 5.7-liter V-8 engine to produce over 600 horsepower. Compare that to an unmodified LX 570, which produces 383 hp @ 5,600 rpm. According to Automobile Reviews, the Asi LX570 Invader can bolt from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds, easily beating the standard LX 570's 7.4-second sprint.
Looks to us like Asi succeeded in its goal. Check out the video and see if you agree.
