How do you want your 500-hp show truck prepared? We've got two options for you this week, from an insane 2004 Dodge Ram SRT10 custom to a heavily modified 1991 Ford Ranger XLT. If either catches your attention you'd better hurry: both auctions end within a matter of hours. Let's get down to business then...
The 2004 Dodge Ram SRT10 shown above has a Viper engine (with nitrous) and a professionally done, if over-the-top black, orange, and purple paint job. It's got a Kicker sound system the dealer says "would rock the entire Hard Rock hotel." Twenty-two inch wheels, racing seats with 5-point harnesses, and a custom swede interior are apparently just a small portion of what is a thoroughly altered show truck. How much will a truck like this run? As this is being published, the truck has zero bids at $40,000 and a Buy It Now price of $59,995. Hmm, maybe the dealer would be willing to negotiate?
Maybe the Ram is too big and brash for you. Say you're searching for a more subdued way to roll in a 500-hp truck, the 1991 Ford Ranger XLT here might be your ride. The owner says the truck, also known as the "Cobra Ranger," has a 500-hp V-8 and more under-the-hood modifications than we can list here. What we can do is provide a link to a video of the truck being revved (skip to about 1:45). As of this writing, bidding was stuck at $4605 and the reserve hadn't been met.
Which 500-hp truck do you prefer?
