In the Truck of the Year story in the March/April 2009 issue ("Workhorse Opera"), you wrote "the new Ram is the first full-size pickup in history with rear coil springs." Well, my 1972 Chevy full-size half-ton pickup came from the factory coil sprung, so did other Chevys and GMCs from 1960 to 1972. The Ram will succeed, but it certainly isn't the first, or only to do it.

Dear Reader,
Your letter was probably the most polite one to point out our mistake. The Ram is not the first full-size truck with a coil-spring rearend, but it is the first in a long, long time.
