On May 28, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger took part in a demonstration drive of Raser Technologies’ Electric Hummer H3 with Raser Chairman Kraig Higginson. The drive took place at the California State Capitol, and was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of the H3’s extended range, which is supposedly capable of reaching 100 mpg for a typical daily drive of 60 miles.
While the electric H3 is still in its developmental phase, Governor Schwarzenegger sees great potential with the developing extended range technology.
“I believe low-carbon fuel vehicles are the future and I want to see them succeed right here in California," said Governor Schwarzenegger. “That’s why I’m bringing cars like this one to the Capitol where we can show the world there is a market for smart and innovative technologies that will also create jobs in the auto industry.”
