Follow the guided tour of Navistar's retro-rig with Mel Fair, vice president of fleet sales for Central Maryland International.
The guys at FleetOwner jump inside the new International LoneStar Class 8 tractor for an interview with Fair to check out key exterior and interior changes. Introduced to the American public in 2008 at the Chicago Auto Show, the LoneStar's impressive presence owes much to 1930s-era styling cues of the early C- and later D-series International trucks—but the old school theme stops there. It has all the modern day features and gizmos to make any trucker feel at home on the open road. Both Day Cabs and Sleepers sport interiors as modern and inviting as a brand new den. Over-the-road just became a lot closer to home.
