According to Pickuptrucks.com, Dodge will be offering a free Hemi engine upgrade on all 2008 and 2009 Ram 1500 models.
There's good news for light-duty Dodge Ram buyers this month: Chrysler is extending its Employee Pricing Plus Plus sale, and it's making the 390-horsepower, 407-pounds-feet-of-torque 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 a free option on all Ram 1500 pickups as part of Dodge truck month.
"It's no charge for the Hemi engine for Dodge Ram," said Steve Landry, Chrysler's executive vice president, sales and marketing, service and parts. "That's approximately a $1,200 value for customers buying [2008 and 2009] Ram trucks."
Truck Trend's Take: This Ram upgrade may make your hard drive a little easier, not to mention more fun.
