The "Pre-Owned" story about the 2002-2006 Chevy Avalanche (Truck Trend, May/June 2008) failed to mention the North Face Edition. It was a Z71 with additional unique features. I use mine frequently for desert exploration, so it'll be no garage queen for a future auction. The Avalanche is a far better off-road vehicle than my previous 4x4 Suburbans. The North Face Edition Avalanche may even deserve to be on Hagerty's Top 10 Future Collector Cars list (also in that issue).
