1. In these Hummer reviews, it should also get the base facts of what went into these platforms from GM's shared models. Too many people blindly see the word Hummer and still think it's all based off the H1, where nothing is related. It's what all the beef is about from all the misconceptions.
GMC's 2500 series frame is a portion of the H2, followed by off the shelf items from the Yukon, and Tahoe. If they knew the facts, then they would see nothing more than a GMC Suburban. You don't see Suburban's being attacked. HERE is just one report that includes links to others. http://www.nationalpost.com/news/story.html?id=a78c3db5-b5db-4d0c-8728-82e0a6cf92c5

2. The H3 is based off the GMC Canyon. The copied chassis of the Sonoma. If the Reporters included the facts, the Hummer H2 never would have been the scape goat.
On the other hand, it's somewhat strange GM lets people think they are H1's in disguise.
I think it back fired on GM of the public's false impression.

3. The H3 is a very good vehicle. Well made, decent mileage, fun to drive, and yes it has great offroad ability, unlike 95% of SUV's out there. These trucks will get 18-19 mpg on the highway. That's easily as good as anything else, pickup or SUV. I am not sorry I bought mine at all.
