When the Ford Flex made its debut at the 2007 New York Auto Show it caused a great deal of buzz. But do you think the buzz on this crossover is all the rave or do you think this will be just a thing of the past in a couple of years?
In a recent article by Motor Trend's Frank Markus says Ford's expectations are to make this vehicle an "A design icon" comparing it with icons of the past like the 1986 Taurus, a 1965 Mustang, or a 1956 T-Bird. Do you think this new wave crossover has what it takes to live a long life in the Ford line-up? Or will it fizzle out after it gets redesigned over and over again according to Ford's new three-year shortened product cycle?
