Through our history, hot cars and hot woman have gone hand to hand in the adult and automotive industries. With little surprise, Playboy announced today its list for the Hottest Cars of 2008. Hot on that list for Best SUV was the Land Rover LR2.
The Land Rover LR2 was chosen Best SUV based on its all-terrain responsive, adjustable AWD, and suspension to handle all kinds of driving situations, according to Playboy.
The LR2 was a contender in Motor Trend's 2008 SUV of Year featured in the 2008 December issue. The LR2 is based on the Volvo XC90 unibody chassis. It has a 3.0-liter engine that spits out 230 horsepower with a six-speed automatic featuring standard drive, Sport drive, and manumatic transmissions. Its square-shouldered appearance refines its luxury European good looks and demands your attention on the road.
Also on the list, the Buick Enclave CXL was chosen Best Crossover and the Cadillac CTS (also chosen as Motor Trend's 2008 Car of the Year) as Playboy's Best Sports Sedan.
Winners of the Hottest Cars of 2008 list were picked by a team of experts that traveled around the world to see and drive these vehicles through rigorous tests and challenging courses. The full list can be seen in Playboy's January issue that hit news stands today.
