In 1973 Toyota won their first off-road race, the Baja 1000, in an FJ40 Land Cruiser. 2007 marks the 50th anniversary of Toyota in America and 40 years of the legendary Baja 1000. TLC commemorates these two anniversaries with the new SCORE BAJA 1000 Edition ICON.
Featuring the top designs and equipment gathered from the last four decades of off-road racing the SCORE BAJA 1000 Edition ICON is ready for all on and off road adventures. TLC has pulled out all the stops developing and designing the BAJA ICON. Some of these exclusive designs will soon be incorporated into regular production ICON models.
The SCORE BAJA 1000 Edition ICON began life as a singular prototype in celebration of these two special anniversaries. Due to overwhelming demand the ICON BAJA will be offered in a very limited, numbered series to adventurous souls who are interested in taking a bit of Baja adventure back home! As you have become to expect from ICON, there is nothing like it! 2008 ICON pricing starts at $84,000 with two new body style offerings including a pick up and a 22” stretched wheelbase variant of our original model. The special SCORE BAJA 1000 Edition ICON is expected to be priced at $145,000.
