General Motors confirmed last week that the 2008 Saturn Vue will be offered with two different hybrid powertrains.
The Green Line hybrid will be the first vehicle in GM?s lineup that will offer the two-mode hybrid system the automaker co-developed with Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Also available for 2008 will be the older, mild hybrid powertrain with a 20% fuel efficiency improvement over the gasoline engine.
In addition to the hybrid, the new Vue will be available in XE, XR, and Red Line trim levels. Saturn introduced the all-new 2008 Saturn Vue at the Greater Los Angeles International Auto Show earlier this year.
The 2008 Saturn Vue Hybrid goes on sale this fall.
