Sculptor Lee Stoetzel had created a 2004 Jeep (what looks like a Wrangler) out of a steel frame and hand-sculpted wood.
Stocetzel's art piece, which is on display at the The West Collection in London until August 2010, is very detailed down to the tire tread and extra gas can attach to the rear. This is a real work of art. I wonder what type of wood he used; little detail about his creations is available on his site.
Autoblog just recently posted an article about another Stocetzel art piece, an almost life-size Volkswagen Transporter complied of hand-sculpted wood work. You can own it for the hefty price tag of $65,000.
