Luckily not one SUV or truck made the number One spot. The lucky Lamborghini Murcielago topped the list. It wasn't until a third place tie (with an Aston Martin DB9) that the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes-Benz G-Class, ML-Class, and R-Class SUVs made list with annual fueling cost of around $2,965.
Then the list just grew and grew, with more and more trucks and SUVs tying for the 4th place: Chevrolet Express (pictured), Chrysler Aspen, Dodge Durango, Dodge Ram, Ford F-150, GMC Savana, Jeep Commander (pictured), Nissan Armada, and Nissan Titan with annual fueling cost just around $2,800.
Naturally SUVs and trucks would be on this list since they are big and have larger engines to handle things like towing, something a little compact sedan couldn't handle.
Surprisingly, the 5th place tie was between Bentley, BMW, Maserati, and Mercedes-Benz.
Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra Held the #6th spot alone, as the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Yukon, Infiniti QX and Lexus LX rounded the list for 7th place. The ties keep comings as the Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, and Chevrolet Suburban SUV took the 8th spot.
I can keep naming vehicles all day, but there are only two slots left. So let me just break those down for you with the #9 spot that included the Audi Q7, Infiniti FX, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, GL-Class, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Touareg with an estimated annual fueling cost around $2,400.
And #10? A five way tie with Land Rover Range Rover, Land Rover Range Rover, Lincoln Mark LT (pictured), Lincoln Navigator, and Toyota Land Cruiser.
