Honda has issued a global recall that will affect at least 694,000 vehicles worldwide, with 165,000 vehicles in the U.S. alone.
Honda Motor Co. has received several complaints from customers that their vehicles wouldn't start or would stall while driving. So far no injuries or accidents have been reported. The problem is related to a faulty fuel pump relay seal that was improperly installed on the vehicles at the time of production.
U.S. vehicles affected include the 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan and the 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup. Others affected include the 2005 Acura RL, TL and TSX, and the entire 2005 Honda Accord lineup (include the Accord Hybrid).
