DaimlerChrysler AG issued a recall last week on all 2004-2006 Dodge Durangos for a fire hazard-related issue in the affected vehicles instrument panel. This hasn't become a huge problem as of yet, but the company will be sending out recall letters in April to owners to have the potential problem fix before it can.
Chrysler also recalled over 100,000 2006-2007 Jeep Liberty SUVs for unrelated fires that were caused by the vehicle’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning blower motor.
