When it made it's debut in 2005, the Tribeca B9 was laughed at for its very unique exterior styling which most people said that "only a mother could love".
I had the pleasure of driving a 'beca when they first came out (pictured left). Although the front 3-piece grill didn't do the vehicle justice, the rest of the crossover sport/utility made you forget about...well, that face.
With sluggish sales on the 'beca, Subaru listened to the car-buying masses and updated the 2008 Subaru Tribeca with a very clean-looking, single-piece front grill, a face I can love along with a unique balance of style and safety. The new body-lines give the 'beca a more powerful SUV look.
The interior styling of the Tribeca has been one of my favorite interiors since its debut. I was very happy to see that the new model still retained that sporty wrapped around look. A very good interior design IMO.
I could fall in love with the new re-designed Tribeca.
